One year anniversary!

Updated: Apr 2

A picture of confetti

It has been an official year since taking ownership of Chehalem Valley Chiropractic and merging Weber Chiropractic. I am proud of what my team has done in the past twelve months with a common goal of providing comprehensive treatment to our patients. I walk in the doors of Weber Chiropractic and appreciate the energy we have created in the space that shares a building with Newberg Urgent Care.

My name is Anthony Weber. I grew up in Newberg and was part of the NHS graduating class of 2001. Upon finishing high school, I studied for five years at Oregon State, majoring in Pre-Therapy and competing as a Division 1 Wrestler. After graduating college in 2006, I spent a year in South America, where I volunteered for the Red Cross and became fluent in Spanish.

In 2009, I began my Doctorate program of Chiropractic at Western States University in Portland. I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor since the age of 8 after sustaining a wrestling injury and getting my first adjustment. I immediately got relief—so much relief that I left the chiropractic clinic throwing my arms in the air and shouting, “I’m healed, I’m healed!”

In 2012, with a hard-earned Chiropractic Degree in hand, it was time to fulfill my passion and begin treating patients. I started as a locum tenens chiropractor, covering multiple practices throughout Oregon before settling into a more permanent position at Kelsall Chiropractic in Portland. During the coverage work, I met Dr. Skei and treated patients at Chehalem Valley several times in three years. I was drawn back to Newberg and the town that raised me. I had aspirations to begin a practice of my own in Newberg and eventually pursued this endeavor in the summer of 2016, opening the doors at Weber Chiropractic.

Whether it be fate or coincidence, in June 2017, the opportunity to grow my practice and take over Chehalem Valley Chiropractic came about. Without hesitation, I knew this was an opportunity to fulfill a goal I had since covering Chehalem Valley in the past.

Since last June, my staff and I have made huge strides in making this practice our own. We have an exceptional team, employing bilingual Chiropractic Assistants, two Licensed Massage Therapists, and three office receptionists. I have taken what I have learned from covering multiple practices and tried implementing the therapies and modalities that will benefit my patients most.

If you need chiropractic care or massage this summer, please don’t hesitate to visit us again under the new name and ownership at Weber Chiropractic. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning your benefits or what we offer at our clinic.

Well Wishes,

Dr Anthony Weber, DC
