Hurt your back lifting, strained a shoulder on the job, or developed pain from repetitive work? Weber Chiropractic Clinic is a workers comp chiropractor in Newberg, serving workers from Newberg, McMinnville, Dundee and across Yamhill County. We accept workers' compensation insurance, we can often see new patients the same week, and our team speaks Spanish. Call 503-538-7338 to get started.

Work injuries we see

  • Low back pain and strains from lifting, bending or carrying

  • Neck and shoulder pain from overhead or repetitive work

  • Sprains and strains of the arm, wrist, knee and ankle

  • Carpal tunnel and other repetitive strain problems

  • Tendonitis, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow

  • Pain after a slip, fall or equipment accident

If your injury is severe, with heavy bleeding, a suspected broken bone, chest pain or loss of feeling, go to the emergency room or urgent care first. We can see you afterward.

How chiropractic care can help a work injury

Care is hands-on and drug-free. Depending on your exam, it may include chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release, Graston therapy, ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, Kinesio taping, cupping and home exercises. Massage therapy and acupuncture are in the same building, so your care can be coordinated in one place. If your exam shows you need imaging or a medical doctor, we tell you and help you get there.

Starting care for a work injury

  1. Tell your employer about the injury as soon as you can. In Oregon, your employer gives you a Report of Job Injury or Illness (Form 801) and sends your claim to the insurer.

  2. Call us at 503-538-7338. We can often see you the same week.

  3. Fill out our workers' comp new patient form on the New Patients page. It covers your health history, your employer and your claim details. If you do not have a claim number yet, leave it blank.

  4. At your first visit we examine you, explain what we found and outline a recommended plan. Your provider completes the Worker's and Health Care Provider's Report (Form 827).

  5. We communicate with your employer, insurer and other providers about your treatment and work status, only with your written permission.

On an Oregon claim, a chiropractor can act as your attending doctor (the doctor who directs your care on the claim) for up to 18 visits or 60 days.
